Obituary of Douglas George Faulkner
Doug was born in Los Angeles, California and spent a good part of his childhood in Garden Home, Oregon. Doug graduated from Aloha High School in Aloha, Oregon and went on to work in several restaurants. Doug immensely enjoyed gathering and recycling cans and bottles as well as visiting and joking with staff at Hillsboro Fred Meyer. He was an avid bike rider until he was critically injured in an automobile accident in August 2016. Doug also participated in Special Olympics and enjoyed bowling. Doug is survived by his beloved wife of almost 30 years, Kim Renee (Huppi) Faulkner and their kitties Cubs and Skooter. He was preceded in death by his only sibling, Keith Faulkner. During the last year of his life, Doug received loving care and support at a foster home in SW Portland. Message from Kim Faulkner: Doug I miss you so much. I'm thinking about you. Everyday I hope I get to be with you again, real soon. I love you very much. My handsome love, I am missing you every day. Until I see you again Doug. Love Always, Kim Faulkner
