Obituary of John W. Kreitz
John “Jack” Kreitz died on September 29, 2018 of age related causes. He was born June 19 1921 to Roy and Gae Kreitz in Austin, MN. He married Grace Reinbold February 20,1943 in Syracuse, IN. Grace passed away in February 2001. Jack is survived by his son, Jon Kreitz and his wife Carolyn. He leaves two Granddaughters, Michelle and Ashley and two Great-grandsons, Ryden and Knoxton. Jack was a flight commander in the Air Force in Italy during WWII flying 35 combat missions in B-24s. He served in the USAF from 1943 until 1967 when he retired as a Lt. Col. In 1967 he became chairman of the Business Department at Lane Community College and retired in 1987. Private burial services will be at Willamette National Cemetery.
