Obituary of Virginia Lea Bennett
In loving remembrance of Virginia Lea Bennett. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on 16 January 1932 and entered into heaven in McMinnville, Oregon on 12 September 2019. She was the daughter of Kenneth S. and Velta E. Jarman. Virginia is survived by her husband of 71 years James R. Bennett, 5 children - David (Candy); Terry; Sandy (Gene) Secco; Sue (Wayne) Mathews; and Ronald. She will be greatly missed by her 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 8 siblings, and many nieces and nephews. Virginia enjoyed RVing, collecting porcelain dolls, gardening, and reading, especially history of women. She particularly liked her 25 plus antique dolls that she shared with her children and grandchildren. As a loving and caring person she enjoyed all that came into her presence. She leaves a void in our hearts but has enriched our souls immensely. The same affection and care she provided here is being given to those in her presence now. Blessed are those she has touched and continues to guide from above in heaven.
