Obituary of Ilene Louise Larson
Ilene was born March 30, 1927 in Sunnyside, Washington, and died August 5, 2020 in Portland, Oregon. Living in SE Portland she attended Arleta Grade School and graduated from Franklin High School in 1945.Ilene married Elvin “Bud” Larson on March 23, 1946.Bud preceded her in death in 2000 after 54 years of marriage. Ilene lived in Portland, Jewell, Birkenfeld, Vernonia, Netarts, Tillamook, Seaside, and Beaverton.She drove school bus in Tillamook and Seaside for many years In 1996 Ilene and Bud moved to Beaverton and enjoyed traveling in their RV to the Oregon Coast, Eastern Oregon, and Arizona. Ilene continued to travel after Bud died; she hosted bible studies in her home and enjoyed watching grandchildren participating in sporting events and attending family activities. Ilene loved God and was very active in her church and cherished time spent with family.She is survived by three sons, seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Disposition was by cremation. No memorial service is planned at this time. The family suggests remembrances to your favorite charity. Arrangements are by Autumn Funerals & Cremation
